So a few things i wanted to talk about today involve google. In the past few months google has revealed that youtube.com makes them looses alot of money, what with hosting and streaming so many videos. There have also been rumors that they may start deleting videos that have only been viewed less than 2000 times in the first two years of being uploaded. This seems fair enough but i also relised something that to me is a huge contradiction.

1280p, they are streaming 1280p video. this is ridiculous, what person browses the web on a screen that is compatibly with that resolution. As for a difference between 720p and this, it is minimal. The video sizes must be much bigger, and streaming that kind of media is just more money going down the drain.

Also i may be a bit angry at Google for disabling my adsense account ..uber sad face :,-( with a tear. O well, fair play to them for catching on so quickly.

so i got windows 7 pro 64 bit edition and i have been using it a full day now and holy shit wow! DECENT,. finally decent. i've been using vista for two months now, i thought it was fine but it was too laggy and coundnt do multible things at once.for programming this is savage.. a straight conversion to binary and there are other modes like conversions. Paint and word pad have been given the new ribbon interface and it works well and this seems to be the way microsoft is headin with their interfaces which is awesome cause i spent all last year learning the in's and out's of 2003 edition of MS word and now everything id in a new place.

It is really fast OS and i like the new taskbar, you hover over an icon and it will give you a preview, click and drag up it gives you recent or common tasks, everything is just more sensibly placed. i had a scare installing tho because it said i entered an invalid produst code but that was just my mistake...all good now

now i have been using 7 for a nearly a week now and i got the blue screen :-O

i really dont mind. it was the first one i ever got, but it is working great still. i did a few registary tweaks and everything is still good

OK it is obvious that 7 is better than vista but i think that it is a bit better than XP. Simply design, great use of list, aero is smooth, rarely lags, hurray

every week is blending into each other at this stage. time is flying. i dont have much to say this week. i was doin a bit of photoshop and came up with this

turned out pretty good, i think i might start post the shit i do in photo shop here. in the process of looking for an old desktop pc for turning into a web server and maybe get into web hosting. its like €100 to host a website and if i start hosting the websites i create for people than cha ching. my father said to me this weekend ill end up in jail with all my little ideas of making money. may are illegal but i like to think of it as entrepreneur side comin out.

hey i thought of some thing to complain blog about. i was listen to the king of pop on the radio and when the song was over the radio host said it was a classic. and he was right they were all classics. but from the music of today there are no real classics presently :/

like what bands are going to go down in history, black eyed peas, lady gaga... seriously tho. every one is out to make a quick buck. when black eyed peas first came out they seemed to want to sing about the issues. but now its about getting wasted and ya in their videa for gonna be a good night was about people getting too drunk, it seemed like an afterthought and the song has no message of drinking senisbly. any who im off to get windows 7 for free biatch

recently in thurles there has bee a lot of different crimes, people getting cerbed, blinded for life, 16 year olds getting 10 to 15 years in jail, throats slashed.. this all happened in around 3 weeks. but a certain story has caught my eye and i am not completely certain how i feel about.

everything from now on is from word of mouth and may not be a 100% correct

a couple lads were in hayses hotel for a party. they were not staying in the hotel but told the barman that they were. when one of the guys went to the bathroom he ordered a pint. when he left his friends convienced the barman to put two to three shots in the glass and pour the pint over them. the man came back and seeing that he was well on he didnt noticed the spiked drink. the lads kept drinking for a few more hours. the barmen at the end of the night, around 4, put the same guy in a room in the hotel because he was wasted. During his sleep he vomited and chocked and died. the two barmen on that night have now been convicted of manslaughter.

The main reason for them being guilty is for spiiking the drink even though it was the other guys idea. i dont know if this fair. the barman shouldnt have done this but the man kept drinking for hours after the spiked drink. thousands of people cant handle their drink and vomit at the end of the night.

I dunno, poor barmen

to follow up on what i wrote in my previous blog is something that i think is somewhat better than a whistle, but omfg this is the scariest thing i have ever seen

i was reading some news online and a girl was wlkin home from homecoming in Richmond, California and she was attacked and raped by a group of guys on the street. As disturbin as this is it gets worse is that as few as tweleve people passsed seeing the crime and not doin anything, just walking off without reporiting it. The rape then continued until a women overheard someone else talking about what they saw and called the police. It has been reported that onlookers laughed, took pictures and some people actually joined in.

What sick fukin people live in this world, i dunno ehat else to say about this.

just kinda pisses me off.

Round Two of Complaining - Enter Microsoft

Last week i wrote a blog about apple. I didn't come off as a Apple fan (I don't think so anyway). This is not entirely true, I love a lot of apple products, from the security of the iMac (not impenetrable, possibly easier than windows :-O, but it does feel safer) , to the sleekness of the iPods, and the functionality of iMovie, so far that is all i have used from Apple (well iTunes but lets not go there).

But this week a friend showed me a video of something i saw around 2 years ago

O ya screw you apple, Microsoft can do touchscreen twice as good as you, you'd think they could!

Omfg this thing is pointless. I was sitting there in stitches. it was saying how great it was that it could plan a route for you, somewhat like GPS or Google Maps but in a machine half the size of a city car. WOW. You can send pictures to loved ones and messages almost instantly, somewhat like this new technology called E-mail. It has a multi touch screen, which does look nice with the ability to have more than just to point references, so two people can manipulate different photos or video clips simultaneously, but the iPhone and other smart phones have multitouch and they fit in your pocket.

The features I like the most on the suurface is

-Syncing with your phone as soon as you place it on the table

-Integration of real world products easily with a computer

-In a coffee shop when you put you cup on the table it can tell you the specials

But who would be comfortable putting a cup of Jo on a 10,000 dollar table.

Who wants an aching pain in their back leaning over a table to go on the web or watch a few movie clips. I don't believe this computer can even rival a desktop or laptop for everyday use.

I can see what Microsoft were going for but what they have released is'nt jaw dropping, except for the price. They shouldn't of wasted their money on this but instead make sure Windows Seven's launch is a success.

I am not labeling my self a fan boy of either Apple or Microsoft, I just think they should see how the public view them and their new releases, and then work from their and they will

only become more successful.
